About Mary Lou
Mary Lou Sanelli has earned a solid reputation in the literary and public-speaking community.
She is the author of fifteen titles of nonfiction, fiction, memoir, poetry, and a children’s title. Her last, In So Many Words, was nominated for a Pacific Northwest Book Award and a Washington State Book Award. An Island Called Bainbridge: People, Places, Conversations is her newest title. She has contributed to The Seattle Times, Weekend Edition, NPR, and she is a columnist for the Kitsap Sun, Pacific Publishing’s Seattle newspapers, Art Access magazine, & Lilipoh Magazine.
She also works as a speaker and a master dance teacher. She presents her work at philanthropic conferences and conventions, author luncheons, writing conferences and festivals, literary venues, book clubs, and private events.
